2009 Nissan Titan ReviewAuthor: Daniel Legal
The Nissan Titan is a full-size pick up truck providing a spacious interior and plenty of room for cargo. Currently, the Titan is only available in half-ton model, although it is available in king cab and crew cab with the king cab having either short box (6.5’) or long box (8’) length, while the crew cab’s box measures a foot less in either standard. The king cab has wide swing rear doors, while the crew cab has four traditional doors.
The Nissan Titan is available in three trim packages - the XE, the SE, and the luxury model LE. The power train on the Nissan Titan is a 5.6 liter V8 connected to a five speed automatic transmission - 305 @ 5200 HP and 385 @ 3400 pound feet torque. The starting price of the Nissan Titan is $37,430.00 and is available in 4 x 2 or 4 x 4 wheel drive.
The Nissan Titan was selected the winner in Edmund’s Editor’s Most Wanted Awards in the category of full size pickup. They found the Titan to have advantages in cabin comfort, cargo utility, handling and performance, and engine power.
